Darren Gilbertson – Account Manager

Hi, my name is Darren and I look after the Centrica team on behalf of BaxterStorey. I’ve worked with BaxterStorey for 7 years and looked after Centrica for the past 4. Prior to working for BaxterStorey I spent 8 years working within leisure catering at a major UK tourist attraction. My favourite food is a perfectly cooked medium rare steak with bearnaise sauce and accompanied by a nice glass of red wine. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, travelling, eating out and spending time with my family.

Rosie Cadogan – Nutritionist

Hi, my name is Rosie and I am the Nutritionist working with Centrica. I’ve worked with both BaxterStorey and Centrica for the past 4 years supporting the teams to provide healthy, balanced offer and also answering your questions about nutrition, health and wellbeing. My favourite food is fresh sourdough pizza topped with buffalo mozzarella and basil pesto. In my spare time I enjoy taking my dog for long walks which is also a great excuse to stop for a pub lunch!

Sarah Gibson – Chef Manager, Centrica Stockport

Hi, my name is Sarah and I have worked in the catering industry for 30 years with my career background being predominantly in the restaurant industry working at many acclaimed restaurants around the world and in Manchester. I have worked for BaxterStorey for 2 years and love the work, life balance and their passion for food. I only joined Centrica in December 2020 and looking forward to working with and meeting my lovely customers in Stockport. In my spare time I enjoy travelling and walking Nancy Noodles.

Oliver Williams – Senior Chef, Centrica Windsor

Hi, my name is Olly and I’ve worked with BaxterStorey for 3 years all based at Centrica Windsor looking after the kitchen team and preparing the fresh food served every day. My favourite cuisine is Italian and Thai. In my spare time I like to keep fit by cycling, going to the gym and playing football.

Michelle Corbett – Catering Manager, Leicester Spinneyside

Hi, I’m Michelle and I look after the catering at Leicester Spinneyside. I have been working with Centrica for 18 years and the last 4 with BaxterStorey. My favourite dish is chicken carbonara and I enjoy going to parks and nature reserves for long walks.

Cristina Martin, Senior General Manager

Hi, my name is Cristina, I’ve been with BaxterStorey for 8 years and worked with Centrica for 4 years. My favourite food is slow roast leg of lamb with beautifully roasted tomatoes and buttered green beans. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Borbala Kobli – Café Manager, Park House

Hi, I’m Bori and I look after the café at Park House. I have been working with BaxterStorey and Centrica for 1 and ½ years and before this was a barista for 6 years. In my spare time I enjoy working coffee and baking.

Craig Massie – Café Manager, Centrica Edinburgh

Hi, my name is Craig and I look after Centrica Edinburgh. I have worked for BaxterStorey for a total of 4 years, having recently returned to the company after exploring other roles. I love the passion for fresh food, the belief in people and customer focussed culture that BaxterStorey is built on. In my free time I spend time with my friends and family, cooking a lot, keeping fit and enjoying life! My favourite food has to be pizza – a proper hand stretched wood fired pizza with any toppings (it’s all about the dough!)

Aarron Taylor – Café Manager, Centrica Cardiff

Hi, my name is Aarron and I look after the service at Centrica Cardiff. I have worked for BaxterStorey for a total of 2 months, having only joined in December 2021. My favourite food is either a nice steak or a seafood linguine and in my spare time I enjoy playing hockey.

Laura Flowers – Café Supervisor, Centrica Spinneyside

Hi, my name is Laura and I’m the supervisor for Centrica Spinneyside. I have been working for BaxterStorey for 5 years now and previously worked at Aylestone Road. My favourite food is a good curry and in my spare time I go to the gym and also enjoy a good game of BINGO!

Claire Hill, Head Chef, Centrica Spinneyside

Hi, my name is Claire and I’m the Head Chef at Spinneyside and love preparing your fresh food! I have been working for BaxterStorey for 5 years at both Spinneyside and Aylestone Road. My favourite food is curry and in my spare time I enjoy gardening and going for a jog.

Joanne Woollatt, Chef Manager, Centrica NDC

Hi, my name is Jo and I look after the café an the NDC in Leicester. I’ve been working with BaxterStorey and Centrica for 6 months now. My favourite food is rump steak with peppercorn sauce, caramelised onions, green beans and maybe a few onion rings followed by a clotted cream and strawberry scone – yum! In my spare time I enjoy walking and anything to do with food or history.

Alan Kenny, Chef Manager, Centrica Uddingston

Hi, my name is Alan and I look after our services in Uddingston. I have worked for BaxterStorey for 3.5 years and have worked in the hospitality industry as a chef since I left school 25 years ago and I still love the trade I went into. I have worked in every environment from pubs, restaurants, concert venues, hotels and workplaces. My favourite food is…. Everything haha! Probably a good pizza or an authentic curry would be my food of choice. In my spare time I cook for the old people in my community and neighbours and also run my own prep meal company so no real time for hobbies as I have 4 children and 2 dogs that take up the remainder of my time!   

Tracy Maltby, Café Manager, Centrica Newbridge House

Hi, my name is Tracy and I look after the new coffee cart at Newbridge House. I have worked for BaxterStorey for over 12 years but only recently joined the Centrica team as part of the reopening of the site 5 months ago. My favourite food is a lovely steak and chips and in my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends.
